Lead wool
Lead wool is thin strands of lead metal which is twisted loosely into rope form. Lead wool is used for caulking purposes. To prevent leakage at joints or to substitute for molten lead in fixing ironwork into concrete.
Lead wool has excellent ductility and is usually used as a bonding material. The lead wool is easy to use and can be used directly without heating treatment. According to the size of the gap, the lead wool is directly twisted into the corresponding lead rope directly filled. Lead wool is widely used in nuclear power and other industries such as welding, sports goods, medical equipment and so on.
